Levels & Prestige

Your server level gates the mines and much of the content. It is separate from vanilla Minecraft XP and from your pets' levels — three different "level" ideas exist here.

Earning XP

XP comes from actions, not from time connected. Sitting idle earns nothing.

ActionXP eachNotes
Mining a block4Any block, anywhere
Harvesting a crop3Mature crops only — trampling seedlings pays nothing
Killing a mob5Mobs only. PvP kills never pay XP
Catching a fish8Highest per action, lowest per hour — you cannot rush a bite
Chopping a log2Logs only; planks are crafted

On top of that, every coin you are paid converts to XP at a rate of 0.5 XP per coin — collecting, selling, story rewards and starter tasks all count. Dungeon clears pay XP scaled by your grade.

The curve

Each level costs 70 × level1.25 XP. Max level is 100. The early levels are deliberately quick — the curve was flattened after players reported the early game was too grindy.

LevelXP for that levelTotal XP to reach it≈ blocks mined
1 → 27070~18
2 → 3167237~42
3 → 4277514~70
5 → 65241,434~131
7 → 87982,890~200
10 → 111,2456,169~312
15 → 162,06714,827~517
20 → 212,96127,818~741
30 → 314,91568,014~1,229
50 → 519,308211,516~2,327
75 → 7615,450522,776~3,863
99 → 10021,860972,819~5,465

The last column assumes mining alone and ignores the money you would earn selling what you dug, which converts to XP as well — in practice levelling is faster than that.

You are paid 100 coins × the level reached, every level. Levels from 10 up are announced to the server.

Prestige

At level 25 you can prestige: reset your progress in exchange for something permanent.

/prestige shows where you stand and exactly what the next one gives.

Prestige ranks

Novice → Tamer → Keeper → Warden → Ascendant → Mythic. These stack with donor and staff ranks — see Social & Ranks.
